John Paulding Historical Society Newsletter, April-May-June 2024
Quarterly newsletter of the John Paulding Historical Society (since renamed the Paulding County History Museum), covering the Spring Tea and vintage clothing exhibit, the “Celebration of Arts & Artists of Paulding County” show, the Black Swamp Cruiser Club’s memorial motorcycle run, and the museum’s 40th anniversary of its 1984 opening.
Two substantial historical reprints are included and have been transcribed as their own entries in this archive:
- “Canal Towns Were Numerous, Part Three” — an unattributed article from the Paulding County Republican, January 19, 1922, on the towns along the Wabash & Erie and Miami & Erie canals and the 1887 “Reservoir War”
- “A History of Crane Township” — an article by Francis Minck of Cecil, written for the 1970 Paulding County Sesquicentennial
