Paulding County Courthouse, Early 1900s
An early photograph of the Paulding County Courthouse (completed 1888, per this archive’s Sheriff’s Office history), hand-labeled “Court House Paulding Co.” on the negative or print. The courthouse square bandstand is visible at left — the same bandstand described in later museum newsletters as the site of summer band concerts. Early automobiles alongside horse-drawn vehicles suggest a date in the 1910s. Compare with the later courthouse postcard in this archive, taken decades afterward.
