A centennial history of Paulding County’s county seats and courthouses, researched and written by Melinda Huseby Krick for the Courthouse Centennial celebration held June 20-21, 1986 — 100 years after the current courthouse’s cornerstone was laid. Covers the same county-seat succession (New Rochester, 1839-1841; Charloe, 1841-1850; Paulding, since 1850) documented elsewhere in this archive, including in the Sheriff’s Office history and the unattributed county history typescript.

The centennial program included a Friday-evening bandstand dedication and Bavarian Brass concert, and a Saturday parade, courthouse-square festivities, and a cornerstone-opening ceremony.
