A name index to Paulding County Probate Court medical practice certificates: physicians’ diploma certificates (1865-1948), legal practitioner certificates (1896), examination certificates (1896-1939), and midwives’ certificates issued by the probate judge (1938-1945) — the latter apparently the only formal midwife licensing mechanism the county used, since no separate midwife examination records were found registered.
